Challenge 96: Dies and Punches

This week our challenge is to use die-cuts and punches – a favourite of mine since I got my BIG SHOT.  (now if only I could afford more dies!)

Since Halloween is so near, I wanted to create a Halloween type card (my first ever!) but I have been gone so long that it took quite a few tries to get to this card.  I used a super cute image from Fred, She Said.  That face just said it all!



I did not have any Halloween paper, so I made the little spider web paper with a free image I found online.  You can’t have Halloween without spiders, right!

Missing in Action

Hi everyone

Just wanted to let you know that I am still alive :)  I have been missing in action as I have been trying to complete a project that will be ending tomorrow.  Yay!

All this has meant that I had no time for crafting but hopefully next week, things will return to normal (here's hoping!).So come back next week for some craftin' fun!

My Memories review and Giveaway

I am a little computer illiterate.  When it comes to things electronic, I am a bit of doofus.  So it took me some time to decide to try this new software for scrapbooking by My Memories.  And now I am so glad that I did!  It is so easy to use – I watched one tutorial on YouTube and was able to do this (although very simple) layout of my little doggy children.  So you KNOW it must be easy to use.



The software comes with LOADS of pre-loaded layouts and all sorts of embellishments and papers – enough to keep you busy for weeks.  And on the My Memories website there are enough kits (free and for sale) to boggle the mind.  They are all so pretty.

I downloaded one of the free quick pages and just look how pretty this is.



I can’t wait to start trying them on my cards – that is going to be so much fun!!
